EDIROL’s are the famous MIDI keyboard controllers. Besides providing past models, it also provides more physical controls. The music production and live performance are good, as the controller is well built. It is an excellent master keyboard, which provides many options to send Control messages and Sysex message. To edit all buttons and sliders, we use PCR editor software and that software is very simple to use.

Features:

  • This master keyboard has all elements, which we are looking for. It has nine sliders. We can use these nine sliders as drawbars to control B3-type sounds.
  • It has 16 programmable buttons (on/off) which include samples, drum notes, send CC messages, Sysex messages or send commands to control the software. Apparently, the Sysex control is very rare to get at this price-class.
  • The new PCR series offers new exciting features like velocity pads, which are perfect for playing drums. The LED indicates which of the two modes selected.
  • Another new feature included in this PCR 800 is the cross fader that can be used to control the synthesizer filter and also it allows controlling the parameters at same time.
  • The new after touch sensors keyboard, which allows the keyboardist to play easily. The things, which contribute to the enhanced playlist of keyboard, are smooth key action, silent operation and stable key mounting.
  • Dynamic Mapping is another important feature in this PCR. It automatically assigns its physical controls to the most important parameters. For storing our favorite steps, fifteen memory locations are provided.

We can easily have a computer display, mouse & mouse pad, or laptop computer behind the keyboard – in the ideal position for use as the rare panel of the keyboard is free of connections. This is especially useful in the educational institutes, where space is an important issue. Power is supplied through USB bus for the keyboard to work.
